The Financial Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. The key objectives include managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as overseeing payroll payment execution & reporting.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts on a monthly basis as Standex is a publicly traded company
• Perform financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Improve standard costing processes, recommend improvements for savings
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage the budgeting, forecasting & control processes
• Ensure accurate financial record-keeping
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries
• Manage payroll reporting, including employee benefits and compensation analysis
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
• Compliance, Risk Management and Statutory & Tax Submissions - Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the company’s assets and compliance.
• Uphold a high ethical code of conduct in all financial practices
• Partner & collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support
• Provide leadership as a member of the Standex SEPL management team

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
• 10+ years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong proficiency in accounting software such as SAP (various versions), Oracle or others
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
