Accounts Executive – Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Executive to join our Finance team. The Accounts Executive will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the hotel's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including processing supplier invoices, staff claims, and payments.
• Provide support for Accounts Receivable (AR) functions as and when required, including customer invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely processing of financial transactions.
• Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, and bank reconciliations.
• Perform month-end closing and assist in preparing monthly financial and management reports.
• Verify and reconcile daily hotel revenue and cash collections.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and proper filing of financial documents.
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and government authorities when required.
• Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc assignments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP) or a similar accounting role; hospitality experience is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail with a high sense of responsibility and ownership.
• Well-groomed with a polished presentation and a warm, confident, and hospitable personality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
