Data Engineer (3+ Years)

Experience: 3+ Years
Location: Cyberjaya
Employment Type: 12 Month Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Develop data transformations using Python and SQL.
• Manage cloud-based data platforms and data warehouses.
• Support batch and real-time data processing.
• Ensure data quality, monitoring, and performance.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business teams.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of Data Engineering experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Hands-on with ETL/ELT development.
• Experience with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, AWS (Glue/Redshift), Azure Data Lake, or Google BigQuery.
• Knowledge of Data Modeling, Airflow, DBT, Spark/Dask, Git, and CI/CD.
• Exposure to Power BI or Apache Superset.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
