Job Summary

Manage daily accounting operations focusing on accounts receivable and payment collection to ensure accurate financial records and timely cash flow for DJI.

Responsibilities

• Process daily accounts receivable transactions to ensure accurate and timely payment collection
• Issue invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and customer statements promptly and accurately
• Monitor outstanding accounts and proactively follow up with customers on overdue payments to improve cash flow
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate payment discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records
• Record incoming payments and match receipts against invoices to ensure correct accounting entries
• Maintain detailed records of sales, collections, rebates, and promotional claims for audit readiness
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including bank reconciliation and preparation of financial reports
• Collaborate with sales, retail, e-commerce, and warehouse teams to resolve billing and payment issues
• Support stock reconciliation, inventory movement verification, and retail outlet sales reconciliation to ensure data accuracy
• Assist with GST reporting, audit schedules, and compliance with statutory financial requirements
• Organize and maintain filing systems for invoices, payment records, and supporting documents
• Perform additional finance and administrative duties as assigned by management

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in distribution, retail, or consumer electronics
• Hands-on experience in accounts receivable, reconciliation, and payment collection
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and Singapore GST requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Effective communication and follow-up skills to coordinate with internal teams and customers
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments
• Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
• Availability to start on short notice is advantageous
