Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in Java application development and API delivery to lead the successful execution of enterprise software projects. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management capabilities, enabling you to manage cross-functional teams, drive project delivery, and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API development, and Microservices, along with proven experience managing Agile software development projects from initiation through production deployment. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives while maintaining high standards of quality, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Java and API development projects, ensuring successful execution within agreed timelines, scope, and budget.
• Define project plans, schedules, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage project scope, dependencies, issues, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track project progress and provide regular status updates to business stakeholders and senior management.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure projects comply with organizational governance, quality standards, and delivery methodologies.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads on application design and technical decisions.
• Review technical designs and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Drive engineering best practices, coding standards, and software quality initiatives.
• Support technical decision-making and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with business users, product owners, architects, QA teams, and development teams to gather and refine requirements.
• Promote automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
• Monitor project quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in software development, with at least 3–5 years of Technical Project Management experience.
• Proven experience managing enterprise Java application development projects.
• Strong experience leading API development and integration projects.
• Experience managing Agile/Scrum software delivery teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API development, API design and integration, Microservices architecture, cloud-native application development, CI/CD pipelines, Git, SQL/NoSQL databases, and modern software engineering best practices.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks, will be highly preferred.
