Job Summary

X-FAB is looking for a development engineer to join our Process Development Opto and Sensor team, based in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, working as part of an international organisation developing mixed signal CMOS technologies.

Major Responsibilities

• Process development activities for mixed signal CMOS process with a focus on Opto and Sensor devices, such as Photodiodes, CMOS image sensors, SPAD etc.
• Define semiconductor process flows and device architectures.
• Define, implementation and evaluation of experiments, using method of design of experiments (DoE).
• Development and design of test structures.
• Offer technical support to customers.
• Management of development projects, working in interdisciplinary and international teams.
  
  

Requirement

Qualification: Bachelor Degree / Master of Engineering in Physics, Microelectronics, Material Science or related subject.

Technical/ Functional Competencies

• Good understanding of Semiconductor device physics.
• Knowledge or experience to function, fabrication and characterisation of semiconductor devices.
• Good technical report writing skill
• Experience in project work.
• Trained in the formal use of Design-of-Experiments and statistical techniques.
• Experience in Layout and TCAD would be advantageous.
