About the role

We are seeking a committed and experienced Facilities Engineer to join our team at FMIT Solutions Sdn Bhd. This full-time position is based in Batu Caves, Kuala Lumpur.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Facilities Management and Maintenance.
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience in Project Management will be added as an advantage.
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient in using project management software and tools such as AutoCAD, MS Project.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively.

What you'll be doing

• Strong facilities management, negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt between project-based and operational responsibilities.
• Good in produce reports, slide presentation etc.
• Good in prepare CAPEX/OPEX for departmental and budgeting for project.
• Responsible for site facilities operation.
• Ensure compliance with all governmental regulations
• Initiative strategies to reduce the building operation repair cost and improvement plan for further cost reduction.
• Able to manage and run the operation within the allocated budget.
• Manage all in house/contract vendors to carry out the job as per SLA.
• Initiate and maintain Preventive Management Program as per SLA Operation improvement. (To manage day to day operation and issues arise)
• Execute minor projects and coordinating with contractors/vendors.

Client/Stakeholder Management

· Manage the key client team representatives effectively to ensure that expected service levels are achieved

· Build strong working relationships with key client representatives.

· Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of programs and procedures

Site Operations

• Plan and take responsibility for smooth operations of all Civil works pertaining to the facility
• Manage building scope and projects to ensure the quality and deliverables within the stipulated time
• Develop and implement innovation programs and processes that reduce costs, increase productivity and savings.
• Achieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreement targets
• Coordinate appropriate action for rectification including preliminary analysis of fault.

Work Location: In person
