The role

You will design and deliver the infrastructure our clients run on — firewalls, networks, wireless, servers, and cloud identity. This is a project-heavy role with managed-service responsibility alongside it.

What you will own

• Firewall deployment, migration, and lifecycle management — primarily Fortinet, some Palo Alto and Juniper
• Network and wireless design and delivery — switching, VLAN architecture, site-to-site VPN, SD-WAN, Aruba and UniFi wireless
• Windows Server, Active Directory, hybrid identity (Entra Connect), and virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware)
• Backup and disaster recovery design and testing — Veeam, Synology, cloud backup
• Project delivery: scoping, implementation planning, execution, testing, handover documentation
• Second-line support for infrastructure incidents escalated from the service desk

Project gross margin and on-time completion.

Requirements

• 4+ years in IT infrastructure, ideally in an MSP, systems integrator, or reseller environment
• Strong hands-on firewall experience — Fortinet preferred (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP)
• Solid networking fundamentals: routing, NAT, VPN, VLANs, and the ability to troubleshoot from first principles rather than by pattern matching
• Windows Server and Active Directory in production
• Experience delivering client-facing projects to a schedule
• Strong written English and disciplined documentation habits

Strongly preferred

• Certifications: Fortinet NSE 4+, Aruba ACSA/ACMA, Microsoft AZ-104
• Microsoft 365 tenant and Entra ID hybrid identity experience

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
