Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Engineering Supervisor to join our team. The Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and participating in the activities of engineering personnel engaged in scheduled Repair and Maintenance (R&M) programmed works. This includes managing Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, building works, preventive maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of all engineering-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and participate in scheduled R&M programmed work, including M&E systems (air conditioning, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, sanitary, sound system, other ELV services, and building-related contents) and building works (furnishing, furniture and fixture, wall and floor covering, ceiling repair, structural repair, masonry, glazing, ironmongery, carpentry, painting, and varnishing).
• Determine workload and assign personnel to specific jobs for R&M programmed.
• Prepare and requisition materials for repair works under R&M programmed.
• Compute actual expenses upon completion of R&M programmed.
• Supervise and participate in preventive maintenance and installation of mechanical equipment (air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing, sanitary system).
• Manage the chilled water and cooling water distribution network, monitor and control corrosion on pipework, and schedule pipe replacement as needed.
• Design and prepare estimates for installation or alteration of mechanical equipment (air conditioning, plumbing, sanitary system).
• Supervise the operation of the ventilation system during power failure.
• Supervise and participate in repair, maintenance, or installation of building contents and mechanical equipment.
• Oversee M&E and Building Works.
• Implement Preventive Maintenance and Check Out Maintenance Programmes.
• Record electrical, water, and gas consumption of apartments and common areas meters.
• Conduct checks on common tools and machines of the Engineering Department.
• Prepare Engineering personnel Duty Roster and Attendance log-sheet.
• Exercise direct control over all maintenance personnel under supervision, including work performance, attendance, discipline, safety, and enforcement of House Rules and Regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in engineering supervision or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems and building works.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
