Role summary

Work directly with the founder across strategy and operations, while overseeing whether the team is hitting weekly targets. This is a hybrid role: part strategic thought partner to the founder, part execution owner for your own workstreams.

Initial 1-2 months involve a working stay in Jakarta to help establish SOPs with the local team, after which the role is based in Singapore with remote oversight.

Responsibilities

• Track weekly team targets and flag slippage early, no surprises
• Work directly with the founder on strategic initiatives and business priorities
• Own and execute your own workstreams independently
• During the Jakarta setup period: work alongside the founder and local team to establish and document SOPs, hand off ongoing coordination to the Jakarta-based PA once complete
• Post setup: manage weekly oversight remotely from Singapore, coordinating with the Jakarta PA for on-the-ground follow-through
• Prepare concise status updates and escalate issues before they become problems

Requirements

• Fluent in English and one other Asian language (written and spoken)
• 2+ years in an operations, chief of staff, business partner, or similar role with direct exposure to founders/executives, Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines without hand-holding
• Strong written communication: clear, concise updates without being asked
• Comfortable with a short working stay abroad (Jakarta, 1-2 months) as part of initial onboarding
• Comfortable with ambiguity in an early-stage startup, priorities shift weekly
