Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for Operational Risk Management and Governance including the adequacy and effectiveness of controls across multiple business units within Gas Line of Business
• Perform ongoing credit assessments and risk assessment of new investments projects
• Review and assess insurance requirements for projects and drive cost effective insurance placements
• Lead ad-hoc projects and process improvement opportunities
• Oversee Business Continuity and Crisis Management activities across multiple business units
• Performing quarterly reporting of risk outcomes (risk assessment, controls adequacy, risk indicators & action plans) to Business Unit Leadership / Governance Forums

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree qualified in Business, Finance or Accounting. At least 3 years of relevant experience 
• Hands-on experience and knowledge of risk management including:
• Advising stakeholders on key risks and mitigation strategy associated with projects, investments, and commercial arrangements
• Guiding management on risk remediation related to address control deficiencies and/or process gaps
• Promoting a risk mindset across the organisation
• Building Trust and Collaborating positively with stakeholders
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives
