Role Description The Junior IT Executive is a full-time, hybrid role based in Subang Jaya, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role supports daily IT operations, including monitoring systems, handling user requests, and ensuring smooth functioning of hardware and software across retail and office environments. The Junior IT Executive will provide first-level technical support, perform troubleshooting, and assist with basic network and system administration tasks. Responsibilities include installing and configuring IT equipment, maintaining documentation, escalating complex issues to senior team members, and collaborating with other departments to resolve IT-related problems efficiently. The role involves adhering to IT policies, assisting with periodic system upgrades, and contributing to continuous improvement of IT service quality.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in troubleshooting and technical support to diagnose and resolve user and system issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess skills in network administration and information technology to support connectivity, system configuration, and basic infrastructure management.
- Candidates should possess skills in IT operations to assist in monitoring systems, maintaining hardware and software, and supporting daily IT service delivery.
- Candidates should have strong communication skills to interact with non-technical users, document issues clearly, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should demonstrate good organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Candidates should ideally hold a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with retail IT environments, POS systems, and common operating systems (Windows, macOS) is an advantage.
- Candidates should be willing to work on-site in Subang Jaya as required and support occasional after-hours or weekend tasks when necessary.
