The Dentist provides excellent and cost-effective clinical services, demonstrating care and concern for his / her patients. He / She functions within a group practice in a spirit of collegiality, aimed at achieving the highest standards in quality, integration of care, teaching and research.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SPECIFIC (80%)

1. Provide dental care for the patients of Raffles Medical Group.
2. Adhere to the code of ethics of the Singapore Dental Council, dentists' practice and clinical protocols and handbook.
3. Participate in clinical development programmes (e.g. shared care, clinical protocols, new services)
4. Participate in quality programmes to improve care and service and assure the best outcome.
5. Participate in the training and induction of new doctors assigned to the clinic.
6. Ensure cost-effectiveness in clinical practice and treatment of patients.
7. Adhere to requirements in the contracts with corporate clients.
8. Adhere to the clinic rosters with regard to clinical duties as instructed by Raffles DentaI.

GENERAL (20%)

1. Participate in various hospital operations and/ or medical staff committees
2. Undertake any other responsibilities as directed by the Head of Department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

1. A registrable basic dental degree with the Singapore Dental Council.

PROFESSIONALLICENSE

1. Registrable with Singapore Dental Council.
2. Possess a valid practising insurance recognised by Raffles Dental.
