Core Responsibilities / Tanggungjawab Utama

• Ensure all changing, repairing, maintaining works and in accordance with the planned schedule and comply with SOPs.
• Monitor the work progress closely with Supervisor and provide guidance or advice to subordinates whenever necessary.
• Monitor and identify the quality, quantity and cost of the spare parts required, propose if there are other methods that can reduce the cost of repairs and maintenance.
• Inspect and ensure that all equipments (Taylor Bins, RORO Bin, GCM etc.) that have been repaired are in perfect condition and safe for use before they are handed over to the Operations Department.
• Identify the status of damaged Equipments whether repair is needed, prepare for BER process if the cost of repair and maintenance is high.
• Ensure all relevant documents are updated and kept for reference.
• Report to the superior if there is any unusual damage (abnormal) of an equipment.
• Ensure the tools/ equipments related to repair and maintenance are in good condition and report to the superior if there is damage/ loss.
• Ensure the workplace is safe and clean for the repair or maintenance activities of equipments.
• Prepare relevant monthly reports.
• Collaborate with Workshop and Operations Department to ensure the smooth running of tasks assigned.
• Assist in other ad-hoc duties and other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Job Specifications

• At least a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years of related working experience preferable with hands on equipment repairing experience.
• Independent, attention to detail and result orientation.
• Well versed in Microsoft Office Applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
