We are looking for a motivated Statistics Intern who is currently pursuing a degree in Statistics or a related quantitative field. This internship offers hands-on experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and reporting to support business decision-making.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to apply statistical concepts to real-world business problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and organize data from multiple sources.
• Perform statistical analysis using appropriate methods and software.
• Interpret data and prepare clear reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and insights to support business decisions.
• Support data validation and quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on analytics projects.
• Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations.
• Perform other analytical and administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• Good understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with statistical software such as R, Python, SPSS, SAS, or SQL is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau).
• Basic knowledge of machine learning or predictive analytics is an advantage.
• Experience working with large datasets is a plus.
