Job Summary:

The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The role requires good communication skills, menu knowledge (including Indian and Western dishes), and adherence to hygiene and service SOP standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service

* Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner

* Present menus and explain dishes (e.g., pasta, pizza, burgers, tandoori items, etc.)

* Take accurate food and beverage orders

* Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the dining experience

2. Food & Beverage Service

* Serve food and drinks promptly and correctly

* Check orders before serving to ensure accuracy

* Handle customer requests and complaints professionally

3. Cleanliness & Hygiene

* Maintain cleanliness of dining area, tables, and service stations

* Follow hygiene and sanitation standards at all times

* Ensure proper handling of food and beverages

4. SOP Compliance

* Follow all service Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

* Ensure proper table setup, service flow, and closing procedures

5. Teamwork & Coordination

* Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely service

* Communicate clearly with team members

* Assist colleagues during peak hours

Requirements:

* Malaysian only

* ⁠Basic communication skills (English; additional languages are an advantage)

* Friendly, presentable, and customer-oriented attitude

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Basic knowledge of food and beverage service is an advantage

* Willingness to learn and follow SOPs

* Must be able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
