Job Responsibilities

• Be part of the client’s DMZ network support team providing operations support and maintenance for core network infrastructure.
• Manage and track incidents through to resolution by collaborating with cross-functional teams and escalating issues as necessary to maintain service level agreements (SLAs).
• Conduct fault analysis, problem resolution, configuration updates, performance optimization, etc.
• Maintain and update documentation and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across operations as well as completeness and adherence to the required security policies, standard and guidelines.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology or Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in managing projects or Diploma in Information Technology or Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent with at least 8 years of experience in managing projects.
• Hands-on experience and working knowledge of firewall, switches, routers, DNS, DHCP, NTP configuration, TCP/IP networking, etc.
• Experience working with Firewall products such as Palo Alto and Fortinet
• Ability to diagnose and resolve network access problem and perform network troubleshooting.
• Certification in network/system expertise (e.g. CCNA, ITIL, etc) will have added advantage.
• Experience in vendor coordination and stakeholder management.
Able to deal with staff officers and operational users in the course of work.
