Our client is a diversified organisation with large-scale operations spanning food manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial sectors. With a significant digital transformation under way, they are building a modern enterprise data platform on Microsoft Fabric to drive analytics, AI, and self-service BI at scale.

The Role

You will design, build, and maintain the data platform that powers trusted, analytics-ready insights across the group.

• Develop and maintain a Medallion Architecture Lakehouse on Microsoft Fabric and OneLake
• Build and optimise ingestion pipelines from ERP, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain systems
• Design and monitor ETL/ELT pipelines for accurate, timely data delivery
• Apply governance, access controls, and quality standards to keep data trusted and secure
• Translate business and IT requirements into effective, analytics-ready solutions
• Support platform performance, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

Technical depth combined with a collaborative, service-oriented approach will be key.

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a related field
• 4-6 years of experience in data engineering, warehousing, or analytics
• Background in manufacturing or complex multi-system enterprise environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, SQL, Python, and PySpark
• Solid understanding of Lakehouse design, Medallion Architecture, Parquet/Delta formats, and dimensional modelling
• Experience with data ingestion via APIs, databases, flat files, or CDC/incremental loading
