FIS Line Support Engineer (24x7 Operations Support)

Location: Singapore

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 6+ Years

Shift: 24x7 Rotational (12-Hour Shifts)

We are looking for an experienced FIS Line Support Engineer to provide first-level technical support for mission-critical Factory Information Systems (FIS). The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience supporting production environments, and the ability to ensure high system availability in a 24x7 operations environment.

Key Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of IT Operations or Application Support experience
• Strong knowledge of Application Production Support
• Basic networking, Windows Server, and database troubleshooting
• Experience with incident, problem, and service request management
• Application monitoring and production support
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Experience working in 24x7 rotational support environments

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for Factory Information Systems (FIS)
• Monitor application health, machine connectivity, and data transfers
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve production issues within SLA
• Log, classify, and track incidents and service requests
• Escalate complex issues to Level 2/Level 3 support teams
• Collaborate with global support teams to restore services quickly
• Maintain operational documentation and knowledge articles
• Ensure compliance with information security policies and operational standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system stability and availability

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting manufacturing or factory automation environments
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices
• Familiarity with SQL, scripting, or monitoring tools
• Experience working with enterprise applications and infrastructure support
