Senior Field Engineer / Field Engineer
Projects Location: Terengganu/Miri/Sabah
Key Responsibilities
- Review project scope, technical documentation, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Develop installation procedures, engineering calculations, sketches, and drawings.
- Plan installation methodologies, work sequences, barge setups, anchor patterns, and loadout arrangements.
- Perform rigging calculations and equipment selection for offshore installation activities.
- Coordinate procurement of project materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Prepare post-job analysis and as-built documentation.
- Provide technical support and supervision during offshore/onshore construction activities.
- Monitor installation progress and resolve technical issues.
Leadership (Senior Field Engineer)
- Lead assigned engineering work scopes and project execution activities.
- Manage engineering resources and project schedules.
- Act as the focal point for technical queries and offshore construction issues.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Support technical reviews, risk assessments, and client engagements.
Requirements
Field Engineer
- Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or Marine Engineering.
- Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
- Minimum 1 year of Field Engineering experience.
- Oil & Gas industry experience preferred.
Senior Field Engineer
- Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or Marine Engineering.
- Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
- Minimum 5 years of Field Engineering experience, including 1 year in a Lead Field Engineer capacity.
- Experience in T&I and EPCIC projects.
Preferred Skills
- Offshore transportation and installation experience.
- Familiarity with MOSES, SACS, OrcaFlex, STAAD.Pro, OFFPIPE, ANSYS, and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, DNV, and Noble Denton standards.
- Strong technical, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work offshore, travel extensively, and perform under demanding project conditions.
