Role Description The Engineer role at EPMB is a full-time, on-site position located in Alur Gajah. This role involves planning, designing, and improving production or operational processes, as well as troubleshooting technical issues to maintain smooth and safe plant operations. The Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering solutions, monitor equipment performance, and support preventive maintenance activities. Daily responsibilities include preparing technical documentation, analyzing data, supporting quality and safety initiatives, and participating in continuous improvement projects. The role also requires effective communication with supervisors, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and performance targets are met.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in engineering principles (e.g., mechanical, electrical, industrial, or related discipline) and the ability to apply them in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Proficiency in technical documentation, data analysis, and basic engineering software tools (such as CAD, simulation, or plant monitoring systems).
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with experience in troubleshooting equipment or process issues and implementing practical solutions.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and operational best practices, with the ability to follow and improve standard operating procedures.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional teams and coordinate with technicians and supervisors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience in an industrial or plant setting.
• Ability to work on-site in Alur Gajah, manage time effectively, and adapt to dynamic operational needs.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean or Six Sigma) is an advantage.
