Based in MSC’s Singapore Regional Office, the Operations Team is responsible for overall Network, Capacity, Berthing and Vessels. In this position, the incumbent will have opportunities to display their abilities, acquire skills and knowledge in the following areas:

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee line/vessel/port operations within scope of Network area.
• Coordinate scheduling around berthing with the berth planning team and port captains.
• Coordinate with Stowage Planning team on loadable capacity & schedule within Network area.
• Coordinate with Liners & Capacity team on cargo bookings & connectivity.
• Coordinate with local agents on cargo & berthing related matters.
• Liaise with Logistic team on empty repositioning requirements.
• Participate in contingency plan review with MSC Geneva, agents & with Partners as necessary.
• Monitoring & maintaining of Allocations of all parties.
• Monitor, and improve where possible, performance of the operations. (Monitor and improve workflow of team to achieve optimum performance).
• Aware of all vessel & port operations & safety related matters.
• Manage CODs, OOG & BBK request.
• Prepare & send various daily, weekly, monthly reports.
  

Who We Are Looking For

• Diploma or Degree holder, preferably in Maritime Studies or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the container shipping industry.
• Able to work independently and perform well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Willing to work extended hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of CASP is an advantage.
• Team‑oriented with a collaborative mindset.
• Proficiency in additional languages is an added advantage.
