Job Title Operations Manager

Job Summary

Kaung Su Mart Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily retail store operations, optimize efficiency, manage staff and inventory, coordinate suppliers, ensure compliance, and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily retail store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning
• Supervise, train, and support retail staff to enhance team performance and service quality
• Develop and monitor staff work schedules and evaluate performance to meet operational goals
• Manage inventory levels, oversee stock replenishment, and maintain stock accuracy to prevent shortages or excess
• Coordinate purchasing activities and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness
• Analyze sales performance data and implement operational improvements to increase revenue and customer satisfaction
• Deliver excellent customer service by resolving operational issues promptly and effectively
• Prepare detailed operational and sales reports for management review and decision-making
• Ensure compliance with Singapore food safety regulations, workplace safety standards, and company policies
• Support business development initiatives and continuously improve operational processes for efficiency

Required competencies and certifications

• Proven leadership and team management skills demonstrated through supervising retail staff
• Experience managing inventory, purchasing, and supplier coordination in a retail environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail POS systems for operational management
• Ability to work independently and manage daily retail operations effectively

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Higher Nitec or Nitec (ITE Singapore), Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Business, Retail, or related field
• Certificate in Business Management (advantageous)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in retail operations or business management
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Salary S$12,000 per month
