Clinic Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and friendly Clinic Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic by providing excellent patient service, supporting doctors during consultations, and handling both administrative and clinical duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and register patients while maintaining accurate patient records.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and respond to patient enquiries via phone, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
• Prepare consultation and treatment rooms before and after patient visits.
• Support doctors during consultations and minor procedures when required.
• Measure and record patients’ vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, height, and weight.
• Dispense medications according to the doctor’s prescriptions and provide basic medication guidance when appropriate.
• Monitor medication inventory and clinic supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
• Handle payment transactions and issue receipts accurately.
• Process panel, insurance, and medical claim documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe clinic environment.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with clinic policies and procedures.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the clinic management as required.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn clinic management software.
• Able to communicate well in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Friendly, responsible, proactive, and able to work well in a team.
• Willing to work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Previous experience in a clinic, pharmacy, or healthcare setting is an added advantage.

Working Schedule

Working hours are based on the clinic’s operating hours and assigned shift roster.

Location: Segambut, Kuala Lumpur

Applicants should be able to commute to Segambut, Kuala Lumpur or be willing to relocate before starting employment.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
