Job Description

1. Bookkeeping & Financial Records

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, general ledgers, journals, and financial documentation.
• Record daily financial transactions and ensure all supporting documents are properly filed and maintained.

2. Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

• Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Prepare payment schedules and maintain accurate records of accounts payable.
• Monitor customer payments, follow up on outstanding balances, and maintain accounts receivable records.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.

3. Bank Reconciliation & General Ledger

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between accounting records and bank statements.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger.

4. Financial Reporting

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing schedules and reconciliations.
• Ensure financial reports are prepared accurately and submitted within the required timelines.

5. Taxation, Audit & Compliance

• Assist in the preparation and submission of tax-related documents, including SST and other statutory requirements where applicable.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and government authorities when required.

Job Requirement

1.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

2. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.

3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

4. Familiar with accounting software such as Auto Count.

5. Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
