Role Description The Business Development Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including researching potential markets, qualifying leads, and developing relationships with key decision-makers. The Business Development Executive will conduct regular client meetings, prepare proposals and presentations, and manage contracts and negotiations to support revenue growth. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining a strong sales pipeline, collaborating with internal teams to align service offerings with client needs, and providing ongoing account management and support. The role also involves tracking market trends, attending relevant events, and contributing to sales forecasts and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with the ability to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Solid business acumen, including understanding of commercial terms, market dynamics, and strategic positioning.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex solutions clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in account management, nurturing long-term client relationships, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in B2B sales, consulting, or environmental, sustainability, or building performance sectors is an advantage.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office; comfortable preparing reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• At least 3 years’ experience in environmental consultancy, with experience in sustainability and renewable energy sectors.
• Valid driving license.
