We are partnering with a leading technology company building next-generation embedded computing platforms. As part of a growing engineering team, they are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer (Boot / BSP) to develop low-level platform software for advanced ARM-based SoCs.

This is an opportunity to work on core platform software, including bootloaders, firmware management, and system bring-up for high-performance embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain bootloader software, including BootROM, BL2, BL31, and U-Boot.
• Develop firmware download, flashing, and upgrade solutions for embedded devices.
• Optimize system boot time, startup reliability, restart, and recovery mechanisms.
• Support BSP integration, platform bring-up, and production deployment.
• Work closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure stable platform integration.
• Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and implementation guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software, bootloader, BSP, or firmware development.
• Strong understanding of the ARM64 boot process.
• Hands-on experience with ARM Trusted Firmware (ATF) and U-Boot.
• Experience with firmware upgrade, flashing, and image management.
• Familiarity with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Proven experience optimizing boot performance and improving system stability.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Linux BSP or Linux kernel bring-up.
• Experience working with ARM-based SoCs or embedded Linux platforms.
• Automotive, industrial, or consumer electronics platform development experience.
