Role Description The Video Editor/Videographer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuching. In this position, you will plan, shoot, and edit video content for various social media platforms, working closely with the creative and marketing teams to bring campaigns and brand stories to life. Day-to-day responsibilities include filming on location or in studio, organizing footage, assembling rough and final cuts, and ensuring consistent visual quality and brand alignment. You will also perform color grading, integrate motion graphics and basic graphic elements, and optimize content formats for different digital channels. Collaboration, clear communication, and adherence to project timelines are essential to this role.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in video production, including planning, shooting, and setting up lighting and audio.
• Proficiency in video editing and video color grading using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects).
• Ability to create motion graphics and integrate graphics to enhance storytelling and brand identity.
• Understanding of social media platforms, content trends, and best practices for short-form and long-form video.
• Excellent visual storytelling, attention to detail, and sense of pacing and composition.
• Ability to work on-site in Kuching, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and iterative creative processes.
• Relevant experience in video production or a related field; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating prior work is highly beneficial.
