Head of Finance

Location: Singapore

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Manage the month-end close process and deliver high-quality management reporting.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Partner with business leaders to provide commercial insight, profitability analysis and strategic financial support.
• Drive improvements in cash flow, working capital and financial performance.
• Manage statutory reporting, external audits and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls, financial governance and risk management processes.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.
• Support ERP improvements, reporting automation and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with senior leadership on business growth, investment decisions and operational performance.
• Play a key role in future expansion of the finance function across additional regional entities.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
• 15+ years' finance experience, including senior finance leadership responsibilities.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in IFRS or Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
• Proven experience managing the full finance function including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and controls.
• Experience working within multi-entity and multi-currency organisations.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence operational and executive stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience developing high-performing finance teams.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to improve processes and drive operational excellence.
