  • Coordinate daily site work with main contractors, sub-contractors, architects, and electrical/mechanical consultants.
  • Supervise sub-contractors and technical crews to maintain high-quality workmanship and strict adherence to safety standards.

3. Testing, Commissioning & Authority Approvals:

  • Conduct quality checks, pre-testing, and final testing & commissioning (T&C) alongside technicians and factory representatives.
  • Arrange, manage, and facilitate inspection processes with JKKP (DOSH) to obtain necessary certificates of fitness (PMA).

  • Track project costs, variations, and variation orders (VOs).
  • Verify site progress claims from sub-contractors and prepare client billing requests in a timely manner.

5. Documentation & Safety:

  • Review technical shop drawings, structural specs, and electrical layout plans for approval.
  • Enforce safety protocols, risk assessments (HIRARC), and personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance on-site.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–3 years of experience in project engineering (Experience in lifts/escalators, MEP construction, building services, or industrial equipment is a strong advantage).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Good understanding of lift mechanical shafts, electrical wiring diagrams, and building construction processes. Familiarity with local safety standards and JKKP / DOSH guidelines.
  • License: Possess a valid Class D or B2 Driving License with own transport to travel to client sites. (must be willing to travel to job sites).
  • Key Traits: Strong problem-solving skills, leadership under site pressure, excellent site coordination abilities, and clear written/verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus for vendor/sub-contractor communication).

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
