Senior Angular Full-Stack Software Developer / Team Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Angular Full-Stack Software Developer to lead a small software development team and deliver enterprise-scale software solutions. The successful candidate must be technically strong, hands-on, capable of managing project deadlines, and confident in handling system integrations, cloud deployment, cybersecurity implementation, technical documentation, and client meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team of full-stack software developers.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise web applications.
• Develop responsive front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Develop and maintain back-end services, databases, APIs and integration components.
• Design scalable and secure application architectures for large-scale projects.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud-hosting platforms.
• Implement application and infrastructure cybersecurity controls.
• Perform source-code reviews and enforce development, security and documentation standards.
• Integrate software with third-party systems and field equipment using REST APIs, Modbus and other relevant protocols.
• Troubleshoot application, database, network, integration and performance issues.
• Plan development activities, allocate tasks and monitor delivery progress.
• Participate in requirements workshops, technical discussions and project meetings.
• Prepare technical specifications, system architecture documents, API documentation, test plans, deployment guides and user manuals.
• Support system testing, UAT, commissioning, production deployment and post-go-live activities.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, project managers, vendors and other technical teams.
• Work additional hours when reasonably required during critical project milestones, deployment activities or urgent production issues.

Technical Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Strong experience in full-stack application development.
• Proficient in back-end development using C#/.NET or an equivalent enterprise development framework.
• Good knowledge of REST API design, development, authentication and integration.
• Practical experience integrating applications or equipment using Modbus TCP/IP or Modbus RTU.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, database design and performance optimisation.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or equivalent hosting services.
• Familiar with cloud deployment, virtual machines, load balancing, high availability, backup and disaster recovery.
• Experience implementing cybersecurity controls, including:
• Secure coding practices
• Role-based access control
• Multi-factor authentication
• API security and token management
• TLS certificates and data encryption
• Application logging and audit trails
• Vulnerability remediation
• Network and application security
• VAPT coordination and issue closure
• Familiar with Git-based source control, CI/CD pipelines and software-release management.
• Experience supporting staging, UAT and production environments.
• Ability to diagnose complex software, infrastructure and system-integration issues.

Candidate Requirements

• Masters or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant software-development experience, including experience in a senior or technical-lead role.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale or enterprise-level software projects.
• Experience leading and coordinating a small full-stack development team.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver work within demanding project deadlines.
• Dedicated, responsible and willing to provide additional support during critical project periods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to prepare clear and professional technical documentation.
• Confident in presenting technical solutions and participating in meetings with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Must possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites when required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with high-availability and disaster-recovery architecture.
• Experience with enterprise, security, airport, building-management, IoT or industrial-automation systems.
• Familiarity with BACnet, MQTT, WebSocket or other system-integration protocols.
• Experience in application modernisation and migration from on-premises systems to cloud environments.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, OWASP, PDPA and recognised cybersecurity practices.
• Experience managing production incidents and providing Level 2 or Level 3 technical support.
