Job Title: Compliance Intern

Location: Singapore


About the role

We are a dynamic and fast-growing multi-strategy hedge fund with global operations, currently expanding our Finance function. With a lean and collaborative team structure, we offer significant opportunities for personal and professional growth. We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Intern to support the team. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of licensing applications, including compiling supporting documents and monitoring application status against regulatory timelines.
  • Support the vendor due diligence process, including collating due diligence documentation, tracking outstanding items, and flagging potential compliance risks for review.
  • Assist in tracking and maintaining CPT and staff training records to ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory training obligations.
  • Follow up with staff on outstanding compliance certificates and PAD statements, escalating overdue items to ensure the firm remains in good regulatory standing.
  • Maintain and reconcile compliance logs and registers (e.g. corporate access records, training records, certification trackers) to support audit-readiness and regulatory reporting.
  • Support compliance-related projects, audits, and regulatory reviews as needed, including research on regulatory developments and assisting with the implementation of new compliance procedures.
  • Assist with ad hoc compliance projects and initiatives as assigned.


Key Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree but not limited to Law, Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Public Policy.
  • Strong academic performance and interest in governance, risk, and compliance.
  • High integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective time management and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive willingness to learn.
