We are looking for a System Engineer to join a leading technology project in Selangor, Malaysia on a 1-Year Contract (Extendable). This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to build their career in enterprise infrastructure, backup, and recovery technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to enterprise backup and recovery solutions.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support for software, hardware, networking, and application issues.
• Monitor backup operations, disaster recovery processes, and storage utilization.
• Perform root cause analysis and escalate product issues when required.
• Document troubleshooting steps, technical procedures, and case resolutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Participate in product testing, labs, and technical validation activities.
• Deliver excellent customer support through phone, email, and remote support channels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6 months to 2 years of experience in Technical Support or Customer Support.
• Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a customer-focused technical support environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with backup and recovery technologies.
• Familiarity with remote troubleshooting tools and ticketing systems.
• Understanding of disaster recovery and data protection concepts.
