The Role


Senior Associate, Admin (MDWI)


This role is responsible for providing timely, professional, and accurate administrative and operational support to the Migrant Domestic Worker Interviewers (MDWI) centres by serving as a key point of contact for employers and stakeholders. The incumbent supports the smooth coordination of interview scheduling, service enquiries, and daily centre operations, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, effective communication, and responsive service delivery to uphold service standards and operational efficiency.

Centre for Domestic Employees (CDE) works to ensure the fair treatment of domestic employees in Singapore through balanced and pragmatic approach and promotes cohesive social integration among the community.

Responsibilities

  • Engage employers of domestic workers to explain the function and procedures of the interviews.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner.
  • Respond promptly to email enquiries, ensuring issues are resolved accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of telephone conversations in the appointment system, including the submission of appeals to management where required.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for service complaints.
  • Perform general clerical and administrative duties, including emailing, following up with employers on missed interviews, data entry, coordination of interpreter arrangements, and claims-related matters.
  • Liaise with the centre receptionist on administrative matters relating to interview schedules and interpreter deployment.
  • Generate consolidated monthly management reports.
  • Provide system and administrative support to MDWI centres and the management team to support daily operations.
  • Deployment to site office to support or cover receptionist work, when necessary and required.
  • Other duties as assigned by organization/centre supervisor/ centre manager.


Requirements

  • GCE ‘O’ Level, ‘A’ Level, Diploma (in any discipline), or equivalent, with relevant working experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a receptionist, office administrator or customer service officer.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications. (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in a second language will be an added advantage.
  • Keen interest to perform administrative work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communications skill.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
