Job Summary

The Livestream Host is responsible for elevating brand visibility and driving commercial growth through high-energy livestreams and strategic content creation. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of blending sales expertise with creative storytelling to showcase products, facilitate live demonstrations, and foster meaningful audience engagement across multiple digital platforms.

Job Responsibility

• Deliver engaging and informative product presentations that highlight key features, benefits, and unique value propositions.
• Execute live demonstrations to showcase product functionality, versatility, and practical usage.
• Facilitate real-time audience interaction by addressing questions and comments with professional and persuasive communication.
• Drive sales conversions by implementing promotional strategies, creating a sense of urgency, and highlighting exclusive offers.
• Formulate content strategies, including scripting and conceptual planning, tailored for e-commerce platforms.
• Oversee technical production requirements, ensuring optimal lighting, audio, and camera settings for high-quality broadcasts.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to ensure livestream initiatives align with broader corporate objectives.
• Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), such as viewer engagement and conversion rates, to refine and optimize content strategy.
• Demonstrate high levels of adaptability and problem-solving skills during live broadcasts.
• Maintain a pulse on industry trends and emerging e-commerce best practices to foster continuous innovation.

Job Requirement

• At least 1 year of experience in livestream hosting or within an e-commerce environment
• Proven sales acumen with a track record of driving conversions through persuasive presentation
• Exceptional verbal communication skills and a confident, professional on-camera presence
• Ability to quickly acquire and articulate comprehensive product knowledge
• Creative mindset with the ability to conceptualise and execute visually appealing content
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with a diverse digital audience in real-time
• Proficiency in the technical aspects of livestreaming and digital content organisation
• Possession of own transportation
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to meet broadcasting schedules
