JOB SUMMARY

To assist in overall and day-to- day in accounting functions and this position is reporting to Finance Manager/Assistant Finance Manager.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform monthly closing of Management Account including journal posting for fixed depreciation, pre-payment, accrual, etc.
• Finalization of bank reconciliation.
• Manage daily financial & accounting operation including full set account (GL, P&L, AP & AR), cash flow, expenses, claim & credit control.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
• Assist the Finance Manager in monthly variance analysis for Management Accounts.
• Support the Finance Manager with projects and tasks when required.
• Assist manager in monthly closing/Yearly audit/Tax/Budgeting related matters.
• Overview and monitor subordinate account executive job task.
• Other duties assigned by Management.
• Managing PPE through ensuring timely fixed assets recognition for transfer, disposal and acquisition.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Degree in Accounting/Diploma in Accounting or relevant qualification;
• Good interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with team and business partners throughout the organisation;
• Flexible, meticulous, organised, and able to work under time constraints and deadlines;
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field;
• Prior work experience in retail industry will be an added advantage;
• Able to work independently under minimum supervision;
• Proficient in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken;
• Computer literate. Experience in SQL and ERP system is an added advantage;
• Experience in handling reporting in retail industry will be an added advantage
