Position Overview

The Head of Airfreight will be responsible for establishing, developing and leading the Company's airfreight business. The successful candidate will secure Cargo Sales Agency (CSA) appointments with airlines, drive commercial growth, build strategic partnerships and develop a high-performing airfreight team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Company's airfreight strategy.
• Secure Cargo Sales Agency (CSA) appointments with airlines.
• Build relationships with airlines, freight forwarders and key accounts.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, rates and capacity allocations.
• Develop import, export, cross-trade and transshipment business.
• Recruit and lead the airfreight sales and operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with IATA, ICAO, customs and aviation regulations.
• Manage departmental P&L, budgets and profitability.
• Collaborate with sea freight, trucking and warehousing divisions to provide integrated logistics solutions.

About you

• Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Business or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in airfreight with at least 5 years in senior management.
• Proven experience securing and managing airline CSA appointments.
• Strong airline industry network and commercial negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of IATA cargo procedures and customs compliance.
• Strong leadership and financial management capabilities.

Pay: From $7,000.00 per month
