Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Manager to lead our Quality Management System (QMS) and oversee all quality-related activities within our sheet metal manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Quality Control team, maintaining ISO standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring our products consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of QC inspectors.
• Oversee incoming, in-process and final product inspections.
• Develop, implement and maintain the ISO Quality Management System.
• Plan and lead internal and external audits.
• Handle customer complaints, corrective actions, and root cause analysis.
• Monitor quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with production, engineering and operations teams to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
• Train and develop quality personnel.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with quality inspection methods, measurement equipment, and manufacturing processes relevant to sheet metal production.
• Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in sheet metal fabrication, metal stamping.
• At least 2 - 3 years of experience leading a quality team, including QC Inspectors, QC Operators, or Quality Engineers.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and hands-on experience developing, implementing, and maintaining ISO 9001 quality systems, procedures, and documentation. Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is an advantage.
• Experience planning and leading internal, customer, and certification audits, as well as managing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, coach, and develop quality personnel while collaborating effectively with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Supply Chain teams.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills, with the ability to prepare quality reports, analyse performance data, and present recommendations to management.
• Proficient in spoken and written English with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
