Job Summary

We're looking for an IT Security & Infrastructure Engineer to own our AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure, firewall platforms, security operations, and server/virtualization environment. You'll be the technical escalation point for the IT team — resolving complex incidents, coordinating disaster recovery, and driving security best practices across the organization. This role suits someone hands-on with cloud security, network administration, and automation who enjoys solving problems and keeping systems resilient.

Job Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Systems

• Manage servers, virtualization (VMware), Active Directory, storage, and SQL databases
• Support IT hardware, network equipment, and retail POS systems
• Act as escalation point for complex technical issues; maintain documentation and DR plans

Cloud (AWS & GCP)

• Administer cloud environments — IAM, compute, storage, networking, security
• Manage cloud security tools, cost optimization, and Terraform (IaC)
• Own cloud disaster recovery and monthly reporting

Security

• Monitor and respond to security threats and incidents (within SLA)
• Run vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and apply CIS/NIST hardening
• Manage firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, SonicWALL, Cisco Meraki) and VPN access
• Build automated threat-response playbooks (TrendMicro Vision One)

Network

• Administer LAN/WAN, VLANs, switches, and routers

Automation & Reporting

• Build Lark bots and Python scripts for monitoring and workflows
• Maintain IT policies, vendor relationships, and regular reports to management

Job Requirements

Must Have

• 2+ years' experience in IT infrastructure, security, or networking
• AWS or GCP experience (IAM, compute, networking, security)
• Firewall administration (Palo Alto, Fortinet, SonicWALL, or Cisco Meraki)
• Windows Server, VMware/virtualization, Active Directory, SAN/NAS
• SQL database maintenance; VLAN/VPN/LAN/WAN networking
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

Good to Have

• Multi-cloud (AWS + GCP), Terraform/IaC
• TrendMicro Vision One or similar EDR/XDR
• Python scripting, Lark administration
• Penetration testing, CIS/NIST knowledge
• Retail or multi-site experience

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
