Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infra Engineer (Azure) to support cloud infrastructure operations and implementation for TNB. The role will focus on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, servers, operating systems, storage, backup, networking, security, and disaster recovery activities.
Work Location: Onsite (Resident Engineer)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure including compute, servers, operating systems, storage, and backup solutions.
- Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) for Windows and Linux workloads across different network environments.
- Install, configure, and maintain application services, databases, and web services hosted on Azure infrastructure.
- Configure secure application access using HTTPS and SSL certificates.
- Perform domain integration and Active Directory (AD) authentication setup.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), role-based access control (RBAC), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Design and manage Azure Virtual Network (VNet) environments including:
- Subnets, route tables, Network Security Groups (NSG), and network security configurations
- Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, and other network services
- Configure and support hybrid connectivity between Azure and on-premise environments using VPN and secure network connections.
- Implement and manage Azure storage solutions, including storage accounts, managed disks, and backup services.
- Configure Azure Backup solutions for critical workloads and perform restoration testing to ensure disaster recovery readiness.
- Support common Azure services including DNS, firewalls, monitoring, and network infrastructure components.
- Perform security assessments, vulnerability management, and ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Support production and non-production environment setup, testing, and deployment activities.
- Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of Azure infrastructure.
- Participate in annual and ad-hoc Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises, including failover and recovery testing.
