Role Description This full-time Senior/Intermediate Structure Engineer role is based in Subang Jaya and follows a hybrid work model, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. The engineer will perform structural analysis and design for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering calculations, developing CAD models and drawings, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders such as architects, contractors, and suppliers. The role involves providing technical support for Leviat’s engineered solutions, contributing to project-specific designs, and assisting with product selection and application. The engineer will also participate in design reviews, support continuous improvement of design processes, and help mentor less experienced team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to building and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and detailed Calculations for a range of structural systems and materials.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and reviewing engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Relevant professional registration or progress toward chartered/PE status is an advantage.
- Experience in the construction or building products industry, ideally with structural connections or engineered systems.
- Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, communicate technical information clearly, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Familiarity with international and local design codes and standards; knowledge of digital design tools and BIM workflows is beneficial.
