Position: Junior Backend Developer (PHP, Node.JS)

Location: Bandar Sunway / Bangsar

Position Summary:

We are actively hiring talented Backend Developer with more than 2 years of experience in backend development to join our team. As a Junior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend of our platform. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to build scalable and reliable systems that provide the best experience to our users.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the backend of the platform
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and implement new features and improvements.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems.
• Write clean and maintainable code that is well-documented and tested.
• Optimize database queries and server-side code to improve the speed and efficiency of the platform.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest backend development trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of experience in backend development.
• Proficient in PHP, Node.js, and MySQL.
• Experience in the Yii2 framework and Google Cloud Platform will be a plus.
• Experience in Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL will be a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
