Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused IT Service Tech to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing installation and maintenance of IT equipment, and ensuring service requests are completed within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA). Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 technical support to end users during on-site visits and field service assignments.
- Install, configure, maintain, test, and commission IT hardware, software, and related equipment.
- Diagnose hardware and software issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Perform modular repairs, upgrades, and replacement of faulty IT devices and equipment.
- Escalate unresolved technical issues to the IT Service Helpdesk for further action.
- Update and maintain accurate service records, asset information, and job status in the system.
- Document service activities, incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the service management system.
- Ensure assigned service requests are completed within the required SLA.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism when interacting with clients.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor or Head of Department.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in IT technical support, field service, or a similar role. Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- Good knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Basic understanding of networking, internet security, and data privacy principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Possess a valid driving licence and willing to travel for on-site support (preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent will be an added advantage.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
