Looking for someone locally available in Malaysia.

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead with strong expertise in ERP data migration, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, and enterprise application transformation projects. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end data migration activities, ensuring accurate data extraction, transformation, validation, and successful migration into D365 Finance environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead ERP data migration initiatives involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and legacy ERP platforms such as D365, NetSuite, or similar systems.

Define and execute migration strategies, including data extraction, cleansing, transformation, loading, and validation.

Develop and maintain source-to-target mapping (S2T) documents, migration plans, and data conversion specifications.

Work extensively with D365 Data Management Framework (DMF) for data import/export, templates, entities, and migration execution.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure data readiness and quality.

Perform data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness of migrated data.

Design and support ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading across ERP systems.

Manage migration cycles including mock migrations, SIT/UAT support, cutover activities, and post-go-live validation.

Identify data issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Provide leadership and guidance to migration teams throughout ERP implementation and upgrade projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

7–10 years of experience in ERP Data Migration / Data Conversion roles.

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (D365 Finance & Operations) data migration.

Experience working with legacy ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, or other ERP systems.

Strong knowledge of D365 DMF (Data Management Framework), data entities, and migration templates.

Experience with ETL tools, data transformation, data cleansing, and validation techniques.

Strong understanding of source-to-target mapping, data quality management, reconciliation, and migration governance.

Experience leading migration workstreams in large-scale ERP implementation or transformation projects.

Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
