Business Analyst - D365

• Location : Kuala Lumpur
• Employment Type: Full-Time Contract (FTC)
• Duration: Sep 2026 to March 2027 (extendable)
• Salary : 15-20% increment from current salary (Open Budget)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in ERP implementation, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (D365 Finance). The successful candidate will play a key role in gathering business requirements, analysing business processes, supporting ERP implementation projects, and ensuring solutions align with business objectives.

This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, end users, technical teams, and project teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• · Collaborate with business stakeholders and end users to gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
• · Facilitate requirement workshops and obtain stakeholder review and sign-off on business requirements.
• · Perform business process analysis, process mapping, and fit-gap analysis to identify improvement opportunities and solution gaps.
• · Review proposed functional solutions to ensure they meet business needs and project objectives.
• · Act as the key liaison between business users, product owners, and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the project.
• · Support ERP implementation activities, including system configuration discussions, process validation, and functional design reviews.
• · Assist with data mapping and data migration activities to ensure accurate data transition into the new ERP system.
• · Prepare functional specifications, business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, process flows, and other project documentation.
• · Develop high-level test plans and coordinate functional testing activities.
• · Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case preparation, execution, issue tracking, and defect resolution.
• · Work closely with development teams to resolve system defects and ensure timely delivery of business solutions.
• · Participate in evaluating and prioritising enhancement requests and system improvements.
• · Provide post-implementation support during system deployment and stabilization phases.

Required Skills & Experience

• · 7–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in ERP implementation projects.
• · Hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (D365 Finance).
• · Prior ERP implementation experience with D365, SAP, NetSuite, or similar enterprise ERP platforms (mandatory).
• · Strong experience in:

o Requirements Gathering

o Business Process Mapping

o Fit-Gap Analysis

o Functional Documentation

o User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

o Stakeholder Management

o Data Mapping & Migration

• · Strong understanding of ERP business processes, particularly Finance modules.
• · Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• · Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and facilitate cross-functional discussions.

Preferred Qualifications

• · Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
• · Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.
• · Exposure to enterprise digital transformation or ERP modernization projects is an advantage.
