Position : QA Specialist

Salary : RM 3,000 - RM 5,000

Location : Imazium, Uptown Damansara

Working Days : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri

Job Summary

Responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance (QA) process by ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of software products through structured testing and defect tracking.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements
• Execute test cases and test scripts to identify software defects
• Document, log, and track defects using issue tracking systems with clear and complete details
• Assist in developing and maintaining test cases, test scripts, and test data
• Support setup and configuration of test environments to ensure readiness for testing activities
• Prepare and manage test data for different testing scenarios to ensure adequate coverage
• Analyze test results and support senior QA engineers in identifying issues, trends, and improvement areas
• Collaborate closely with developers to follow up on defect resolution and retesting
• Continuously improve knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree or professional certification in QA, Software Testing, IT, or related field
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
• Familiar with QA methodologies, testing processes, and tools
• Experience in system development and full software testing lifecycle is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to document issues clearly and perform basic troubleshooting
• Detail-oriented with good communication and teamwork skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
