Job Purpose
Process Engineer is responsible for creating the standards in production process and for communication and training of the production teams accordingly. Facilitates the application of Global Manufacturing Excellence principles and tools (work instructions and procedures for safety, quality, DDS, CILs maintenance, CL).
You will play an essential role to:
- A role model for Safety.
- Understand and follow company safety policies and procedures, enforce safe behavior, and identify unsafe conditions.
- Always prioritizes the quality of our products.
- Enforces 5S housekeeping practices according to standards set.
- Support an effective Daily Operation Meeting (DOM) through high participation, involvement, and problem-solving leadership, mastering Daily Direction Setting (DDS) ‘0-loss flow chart’ and coaching teams towards ‘run-to-standard’.
- Review and maintain production data in MES DPR on daily basis, also review Critical Process Settings are reported accordingly in the MES.
- Set, monitor, and improve the processes according to Statistical Process Control methodologies.
- Drives Consumer Complaint investigations and propose actions to eliminate / minimize to lowest possible level manufacturing related failures.
- Support product/material development and project implementation according to statistical analysis methodology.
- Conducts technical gap analysis for area of responsibility.
- Works in small group activities as the expert for process and technology for his/her production lines.
- Responsible for continuous improvements that delivers positive effect in safety, quality & performance.
- Responsible for training and coaching of the operation teams to improve behaviors and adequate use of systems & tools.
- Perform other relevant duties as may be directed by his/her superior.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Mechatronic Engineering
- At least 2 year(s) of experience and/or in FMCG/manufacturing industry
- A multitasker, committed, and pro-active driven for results
- Good communication skills: Able to communicate to all levels
- Knowledge in Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Knowledge and experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) & Enterprise Resource Plan (ERP) system is a plus
