The Estée Lauder Companies is recruiting Designer, Store Design to join our join our Store Design & Visual Merchandising (SDVM) team in Singapore. This is an integral role within the design team, driving excellence in the execution of CAD/Vectorworks drawings. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, accurate drawings and ensuring consistency across all project outputs by assessing site conditions and retailer requirements to provide precise analysis, supporting strong and effective design solutions with speed and accuracy.

What You Will Achieve

• Ensure all projects are completely supported & studied to the brand requirements.
• Review site requirements & share potential solutions.
• Own the library of materials with clarity of choices available by market. The timely up to date of these material specs is important for the department.
• Ensure teamwork & clear communication to stakeholders; regional shop-fitters, project managers, indirect procurement, material suppliers. The Brand Regional Director is a key enabler on choices of materials.
• Ensure quality technical build drawings for skincare projects.
• Maintain project timelines and ensuring delivery efficiency so that projects remain on track.
• Ensure a high level of accuracy that allows for effective delivery of design & communication for the Manager.
• On occasions driving changes to the retailer requirements to store sites will be required.
  
  

What You Will Need

• BA(HONS) Architecture or Interior degree from Singapore/APAC Region
• 3~5 years experience of working in leading shop fitter/construction companies with a key understanding of retail design methodology will be essential
• Proficient computer skills in Apple MAC environment, using a cross the Adobe suite, Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Sketch up (3D design software) is mandatory
• Good time management skills, agility & reaching results in a highly focused environment
• Strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of project management, and the ability to prioritize efficiently. The Store Designer must ensure drawings are well-coordinated for retailer, shopfitter, and brand communication purposes.
• A personal interest in working for market leading brands and marketing brands
• A strong communicator with proficiency in rationalising design solutions
