About the Opportunity

As an Export Supervisor, you play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of international export operations. You will oversee the end-to-end export process, from order processing and documentation to shipment coordination and customer communication, while ensuring compliance with global trade requirements. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, overseas operating companies (OPCOs), customers, and logistics partners in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Process export orders accurately and coordinate with production planners to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Prepare and issue Proforma Invoices for customer approval and provide the necessary documentation to the shipping team for cargo loading.
  • Manage export documentation and ensure compliance with international trade requirements, including legalization and endorsement of documents by embassies and relevant authorities.
  • Prepare additional export and commercial documents on an ad hoc basis to meet customer, sales, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate shipment arrangements with freight forwarders and monitor the export process until shipping documents are successfully dispatched to customers or banks.
  • Handle Letter of Credit (LC) documentation and ensure compliance with banking and customer requirements where applicable.
  • Arrange product inspections based on customer specifications, destination country requirements, and product compliance standards.
  • Update and maintain accurate export order, shipment, and closing information in the SAP system.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate superior to support departmental and business operations.
  • Provide timely and accurate communication with Operating Companies (OPCOs), customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders on order status, shipment progress, and documentation requirements.


Key Experience, Skills and Knowledge

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, export operations, or in a related industry.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience using SAP or a similar ERP system, with the ability to process and manage operational transactions accurately.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, overseas stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, with strong data management, reporting, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Independent thinker that is also a team player and works towards a collective goal
  • Exceptional Customer focus and ability to build relationships
