As a Lab Assistant (R&D), you'll play an important role in supporting product development by keeping the laboratory organized, preparing samples, and assisting the R&D team in bringing new ideas to life.

If that sounds like you, here's what you'll be doing:

Lab Organization & Housekeeping
You'll help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory environment by managing supplies, ensuring proper sample storage, and keeping equipment and workspaces in good condition.

Sample Management
You'll be the primary person responsible for managing sample requests, purchases, stock tracking, replenishment, and storage organization to ensure samples are always available when needed.

Blending & Prototype Preparation
You'll support product development by preparing sample blends and prototypes according to project requirements while ensuring consistency and accuracy throughout the process.

R&D Project Support
You'll work closely with R&D Technologists by assisting in product trials, sensory evaluations, shelf-life studies, data collection, and the development of new operating procedures.

Continuous Improvement
You'll contribute ideas and support initiatives that improve laboratory processes, organization, and overall efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Possess minimum SPM, or a Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
• Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new project backgrounds.
• Good communication skills and team players.
• Proactive mindset: Always looking for improvements in any process.
• To perform all other duties and tasks independently as assigned with minimal supervision.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
